A combination of ground turmeric, coconut milk and lavender can be a soothing coffee creamer that is delicious both hot and cold.

You do not need artificial ingredients or sweeteners to get the delicious coffee flavors that are popular in the coffee shops. For this homemade coffee creamer, you need lavender and turmeric that rejuvenates and comforts.

The coconut oil will provide a great base due to its thick texture and creaminess and will make a perfect combination with the other ingredients.

With only 4 ingredients, you will prepare a coffee creamer very quickly and without effort. You can add some honey to give some natural sweetness. The anti-inflammatory properties of turmeric will boost the organism, while the aromatic properties of lavender will soothe the senses.

Recipe for Turmeric Lavender Coffee Creamer

Total time for preparation: 15 min.

Serves: 1.5 cups

Prep Time: 5mins

You need the following ingredients:

  • Full-fat coconut milk– 1 14 oz. can
  • Ground turmeric– 1 teaspoon
  • Dried lavender buds– 1/2 teaspoon
  • Raw honey or maple syrup– 1 tablespoon

First combine the coconut milk with turmeric and some dried lavender buds. If you notice that the fat from the coconut milk is apart from the liquid, blend it for a few seconds or stir it with a spoon more vigorously.

Place the mixture in a small saucepan over a low heat. When steaming, turn off the heat and let it infuse for 10 minutes. Then, Strain the mixture and remove the lavender buds.

Put the creamer in an airtight jar and then place it in the fridge for two hours until it becomes nice and cold.

At last, taste this delicious creamer. Enrich your favorite coffee or combine it with an ice for a refreshing chilled drink.

Store it in the fridge for up to one week.

In the autumn, you can replace the lavender and turmeric with some nutmeg and cinnamon. In the winter, combine cocoa powder and a little of peppermint extract for a delicious peppermint creamer.
