All girls know that if you use makeup you have to have a spare pack of makeup remover wipes, or you will end up looking like a sad clown.

Buying wipes can be expensive, especially if you are using them a lot. So, instead spending half of your salary on them, or waking up with the makeup on your pillow, you can try making your own makeup remover wipes. It is super easy and cheap!

You will need:

  • Paper towel roll
  • Knife
  • One quart or bigger container, with a cover
  • Two cups of purified water
  • Bowl that can be used in microwave
  • One and a half tablespoons of Coconut oil
  • Baby shampoo (it has to be tear-free)

Mix water, coconut oil and 2 squirts of baby shampoo in the bowl. Put it in the microwave just for a second or two and after you take it out, stir it well.

Measure container and cut the roll of paper towel so it can fit into the container. Once you do that, place the role inside the container and also put the mixture in.

When everything is in, put the cover on and turn the whole container upside down, letting the paper towel soak the mixture. After a few minutes, remove the cover and take the cardboard roll that holds the paper.

The last step is very easy. Just cut an X shape on the cover and put it back on, so you can take the wipes when you need them. Since you’ve cut the small hole, moisture is going to be preserved longer.

And there you are. You’ve made cheap and easy makeup remover wipes and the days of spending money on expensive ones are behind you. Good job!
